Nice article except for one thing, in my opinion. How can you suggest that the soul is connected to sexuality? I would think that sexual experience or aspiring to have sexual experiences are as equally worldly as aspirations to have material possessions, power of some sort, or greed in any fashion.

I cannot imagine a sexual experience that does not entrap the person(s) deep within feelings that are totally unspiritual. Consideration for others has nothing whatsoever to do with a sexual encounter or a sexual entanglement. Sexual experience is all about greed, lust, power, anger and any other feeling you might use to describe a material, worldly experience, not a spiritual experience.

Perhaps you have a different definition of "spirit" and "spiritual" than I do. That's quite all right I am sure, but if so, be careful what you include in your definition, especially since you credit yourself with sufficient wisdom to be able to try to sway others to your ideas or since you value your own opinions enough to be able to think you are helping others by sharing your opinions.

If you are thinking that I am discounting a healthy sexual relationship within marriage, I am not. But I don't really think that's what you are saying. I think you are saying that a healthy, open, sexual self is a better rounded self. I may agree with that notion, but still, for me bottom line, sex in actuality has everything to do with entaglements that arise out of greed, lust, jealousy, etc., and therefore cannot be said to be a TRUE part of anyone's soul. The soul as a spirtitual facet of the self is distinctly separate from any material facet of the self, in my opinion.

Just my thoughts I wanted to share with you......
