Dynamic tools for a better balance. Life is just so full of personal and professional committments, that there is little "me" time to refresh and refocus on what is important, rather than on what needs to be done.

Great article - especially Number 11. Don’t sweat the small stuff. It gets so easy to be stressed out about 'small stuff'.

One more I'd like to add:

Touch everything only once. This can be a really great time-saver. Every piece of information should preferably pass through your hands only once. This goes for mail, email, but also things like certain websites, articles, newspapers and other sources of information.

I was out of the office yesterday and today I have 121 emails to read and deal with. I always deal with each one when I read it. About number 9 in my emails was a reference to this blog/article. I could've continued to read the rest of my emails. Nope - I decided I wanted to read the article there and then and respond, so I did and have.

Ah, well back to me emails, 112 to go!

This is sensational advice. So many people are so heavily booked in their lives that they have forgotten how to slow down and smell the roses.

I recommend we all re-evaluate what is truly important in our lives and begin focusing on that rather than just working for the sake of making even more money for a bigger car, boat, flatscreen Tv or whatever.
