My only caveat is that when your stress does occassionally leak out(and I can't imagine that anyone could be perfect at blocking it), make sure your child understands why you're stressed, so that s/he doesn't think it's his or her fault. @Milander: I'd be very interested in your reasoning why these 7 habits wouldn't work just as well for mothers.
