7 Amazing Facts About The Law Of Attraction

7 Amazing Facts About The Law Of AttractionThe Law of Attraction is a “new thought” era belief that claims a person can have anything he or she wants just by wanting it and believing it will happen. While arguments for and against the existence of the law of attraction as a universal law of physics rage on, there are several people who claim that their success in life is based on the law of attraction. Whether one is a believer or not, here are 7 amazing facts about the law of attraction that lend credence to the possibility of its existence.

The law of attraction is based in the science of quantum physics. Quantum physics deals with particles that are so much smaller than the recognized subatomic particles they exist only as waveforms. These quantum particles react in manners that are completely different than the known behaviors of larger particles, yet in completely predictable patterns. Brain waves act much like these particles and many scientists believe that brain waves react with these particles to form our reality.

The brain is actually not a smart organ. It is unable to differentiate between visualization and reality at a subconscious level. This is the reason that it is said, “If you die in a dream, you die in reality, ” a fact possibly demonstrated by those who die in their sleep of a heart attack with a look of terror on their faces. Therefore, if one visualizes something that is desired, the brain wave patterns are identical to those of a person who has the desired item in his/her possession.

The law of attraction is neutral. It will cause a person to receive undesired elements just as easily as desired ones. The very fact of thinking one does not want something attracts it as surely as thinking one does want something.

The law of attraction is not an excuse to sit down and stop striving to achieve desired goals. While the law of attraction states that desiring something will attract it to you, the functioning of this law is that it opens doors and possibilities for you to exploit to achieve the desired end. It is up to you to take advantage of the means.

According to the law of attraction, and quantum physics, time and space are empty. We fill time and space with our thoughts and actions, meaning the timing of receiving that which we desire is determined solely by how we perceive it how we work toward it.

The law of attraction has been functioning since the beginning of the universe. Just as the law of gravity affects every one of us, the law of attraction does as well. Everything we have now is the manifestation of things we attracted in the past. That which we attract today will be ours in the future.

No matter how one views the law of attraction, whether we call it the power of positive thinking, the power of prayer, or the placebo effect, it works to bring us that which we want and desire the most strongly. Most people do not realize it is happening because they never think of it in these terms.

The Law of Attraction is greatly misunderstood. In reality, all life is consciousness and the life that we experience is the result of the filters built up over time from unprocessed experiences. The Law of Attraction is a subjective experience and works for those that put in the time and effort. Otherwise, it is, for better or worse, merely a belief that has no power.

The reason that so many are frustrated with the Law of Attraction is that they do not have a method, technique or system to implement it.

Knowing how to rise in consciousness will eventually remove any difficulty or problem, therefore creating the life that we so strongly desire!

I liked this article, though if you’re going to make vague statements like “many scientists” you should back that up with a citation.

  • Carol Wiley says:

“The Law of Attraction is a “new thought” era belief that claims a person can have anything he or she wants just by wanting it and believing it will happen.” is an inaccurate description of the law of attraction. A more accurate description is that the law of attraction says that a person gets what she focuses on, or vibrates, whether she wants it or not.

  • I think that the human right more important than the scientific approach.

The Law of Attraction is not New Thought/New Age fluff. This Law could be called anything, but the great fact that lies behind is that your thoughts and emotions form your reality and you become what you think about most of the time.
As Napoleon Hill, the writer of Think and Grow Rich famously remarked you have complete control over one thing: your mind, because it is sufficient enough to lift you out of the drudgery and broken dreams and insure success ( that if you’re serious about it, raise your consciousness, take action and work hard -something you’re still not exempt from but with the Law of Attraction you must do it in positive frame of mind.)
    Thanks,
    Lilian

  • Law of attraction: Truely there is nothing new under the sun. In pop-psychology it has many names (psycho-cybernetics in the 1950′s). But the idea is much much older. In Hindu myth a story of an atheist who constantly repeated all his life “There is no God!” went straight to heaven when he died. He had kept God in mind constantly! The number of credible scientist who believe the brain or its function has anything to do with particle physics can be counted on your fingers – with lots of fingers left over.

  • Great post!

Staying healthy should be a priority for all of us. Sleep is an extremely important factor for this. High protein diet foods like eggs, fish, nuts, lean meat, beans etc. will improve sleep and will help us lose weight.

  • Whatever it is, there is something to be said for thinking positively and taking action. To me, the mind is capable of extraordinary things, when we focus it positively, it is immensely resourceful and creative. If we focus it negatively it is equally resourceful and creative, but it totally self-sabotages you!

There is no such thing as co-incidence… things happen and then we give them reasons afterwards. The Law of Attraction is a lovely way of describing how we can mould our world by thinking positively and taking action. All the clues for success are around us all the time, it’s just much easier to spot the right things if we are in a good frame of mind.

  • I love this blog. 3 years ago, someone told me about the law of attraction and it is totally true. Thanks a lot for this awesome blog!

The Law of Attraction also explains sexual attraction!

I am not talking here about love, just sexual attraction.

Countless theories try to explain why certain people are attracted to each other. In the beginning of the twenty-first century we are still unable to present a precise pattern of sexual attraction. Why is a given woman attracted to one man, while rejecting his best friend who is similar in every respect? What is considered sexy? What do women want?

Scientists speculate about the role of hormones, pheromones, beauty, intelligence, character, financial assets, social skills, and many many more. All valid hypothesis, but which factor decides? Or are they all equal, so the woman (or man) just assigns points to each category, and than makes up her mind:
„Mr. Smith got 8 points in the wealth category, but only 1 point in physical attractiveness, and 3 in scent, so his total is 12 points on 30 point scale” ??

I dare to say that I found a factor that is decisive – facial features. I am not being superficial here. Such traits as personality or intelligence do matter, but only after this first condition is met. Also my theory is NOT about beauty.

The term “sexual dimorphism” describes certain features that are characteristic of each sex. The Hormonal Law of Attraction says that very dimorphic individuals are attracted to each other. A man with very masculine facial features will attract a woman with very feminine facial features, “medium” dimorphic individuals will also be attracted to each other, just as the barely dimorphic ones.
Like attracts like in a nutshell.

    Evidence?
If you know the basic principles of face reading, you can try to solve the following riddle. If you don’t, first get acquainted with the tips given on NoSuchCouple.com (read it anyway, because facial masculinity/femininity is a very tricky topic)

    Here is your task:
Find at least one celebrity couple in the world in which the man has very effeminate facial features and the woman also has a very feminine face.

Why do I study this tiny scope of human love life: the choices of attractive women with very feminine faces?

Because this is the only rule regarding sexual attractiveness to which you won’t find absolutely any exceptions. Not even one such couple in the whole world. What are the odds? What does it say about human mating in general?

Regardless of whether the law of attraction is true or false, I think it is an incredibly powerful abstract way of thinking that is great to adopt. The extra benefits that you will gain from believing you will receive things are abundant.

I personally believe it to be true but only under certain conditions (Napoleon Hill outlined those conditions brilliantly in his book Think and Grow Rich).

  • As a biologist I struggle to find reason in how the author describes brain waves. Brain waves are representations of neurones firing, the relationship between neurones is still poorly misunderstood, and it sounds like the law of attraction bandwagon relies on the use of big words to confuse others into believing scientifically unproven arguments.

On a happier note, I fully agree with the idea mentioned that the law of attraction is not an excuse to sit back and “imagine” your success; but that it leads to a mindset where you will be more likely to achieve your dreams. Many people would describe that as self belief or having a high self esteem. Understanding those are far more important than explaining the quantum interactions of brainwaves. When you think about what self belief can achieve for you, you must ask the question: “Why do the patterns of my brainwaves matter?”

I would be very interested to know your thoughts

  • Paul Hakel says:

Fact #1: The Law of Attraction doesn’t exist. Playful cynicism. But really, it does not exist. “Give and you shall receive” as a Biblical principle is sound and DOES exist.

  • Michele says:

It may help people to undersatnd that the Universal and Natural Law of Attraction is a secondary law of the Law of Vibration. Our words and thoughts are energy. Energy is vibrating and like attracts like.
There are high vibration thoughts and words and low vibration ones. If you use your thoughts and words consciously and choose high vibration ones, like love, peace, compassion and gratitude, you will attract more of those high vibration experiences. Conversely, if you use low vibration words and thoughts like anger, resentment, blame, and fear, you will attract more of those low vibration experiences.
You will reap what you sow.
